A Front-Row Seat to Canal Street

The Street Car Room is located on the main floor at the front of the inn. It is one of the three main-floor rooms that have maintained the house's original charm. This room was once the first owner's private sitting room and boasts many of the original features, including hardwood floors, a six-foot-tall neo-Classical mahogany mantelpiece, high ceilings, and floor-to-ceiling windows. Mahogany shutters and silk draperies add to the style of the era. Open the drapes to watch the streetcars pass by the inn.

This room features a dresser, an antique secretary, and a closet for all your belongings. The spacious bathroom contains a step-in shower and a granite counter.

Southern breakfast is included with every stay. See breakfast details .
